In 1982, the pioneering visionaries who hunted for abalone in the Great Australian Bight banded together to form Western Abalone, understanding that unity would be good for their industry, the ecology, their families and their future.

These were people who respected the ocean and the bounty it provides.

More than three decades later, the next generation carries on their quest and Western Abalone is now globally renowned for its highly prized produce. Our family values and our three watchwords of cooperation, quality and sustainability have led to long-term relationships within our company mirrored by those we share with our many valued international partners.
